With the curtain temporarily down on our own Community Cinema, you might like to take advantage of this virtual cinema screening by Creative Arts East.

Here are the full details and joining instructions

Whilst group events and gatherings are on hold for the time being, we want to continue to connect promoters and audiences through the magic of film.

The first film screening as part of Creative Arts East’s virtual cinema is Suffragette (12) – starring Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne-Marie Duff. Here’s how you can get involved:

1. You’ll need to make a free account on Channel 4’s All 4 player if don’t already have one and haven’t used it before. You can do this here. Let us know if you’re joining us via the Facebook event here!

2. At 7.30pm on Saturday 4th April, we’ll all press play here to start the film. Hopefully we’ll all be watching it at around the same time! You watch on your laptop, tablet, phone, or via All 4 if you have a Smart TV.

3. Join the conversation by sending us your comments and reviews! You can do this on the Facebook event, email zoe@creativeartseast.co.uk, or comment on our Community Critics blog post. We’ll be picking out some of your thoughts and adding to the blog after the screening.
