Thursdays at 8.00 have quickly become the moment where nationwide we show respect and gratitude for our Key Workers by clapping.

Cockfield is a sprawling village so it’s harder to get a sense of the Village Community coming together.  So, from this Thursday 9th April weekly at 8 pm we’d like to suggest that everyone come to their front gate or the top of their drive to clap.

At this time of evening the sounds of your applause will carry much further, so we should get a real feeling that we are united together in supporting the bravery and dedication of the NHS and all our Key Workers.
