On Monday 1st December PC Gary Austin became the new Safer Neighbourhood Team Officer for Cockfield. PC Austin has been a Police Officer with Suffolk Police for 13 years. Previous to this current role he was an SNT Officer on the Babergh East SNT Team for 9 years covering both town and rural locations.
PC Austin says he looks forward to meeting residents while either on foot or mobile patrol, at the Parish Council meeting or outside the Primary school.
