You are hereby summoned to the Extraordinary Meeting of the Parish Council which will be held in the Village Hall on Tuesday 21 May 2019 at 7.30pm for the purpose of transacting the business below.

Members of the public:

Members of the public are welcome to attend and may address the Council, during the Public Participation Session, Item 4 on the agenda.

Reporting on Meetings

Except where members of the public have been excluded due to the confidential nature of the business, any person may film, photograph, audio record or use social media to report on meetings of the Council, including any public comment and/or questions. Would any person intending to report please give notice before the start of the meeting to the Clerk or Chairman of the Council to enable reasonable facilities to be afforded.

AGENDA

1 To receive any apologies for absence.

2 To receive, from Members, any declarations of interest in items on the agenda in accordance with the Council’s Code of Conduct.

3 To approve the minutes of the Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council held on 09 May 2019.

4 Public Participation Session: including Suffolk County Councillor and Babergh District Councillor Reports. (15 minutes).

5 Parish Clerk’s Report:

6 Finance:
To authorise payments as presented and to note income received.

7. Dukes Meadow:
To determine whether the Parish Council wish to proceed with the Transfer of Dukes Meadow land from BMSDC to the Parish Council.

8. New Highways Self Help Scheme:
To determine whether the Parish Council wish to progress any of the options for undertaking any of the services (Sign cleaning, Fingerpost cleaning/painting/repair, Tree pruning/branch removal, Hedge cutting/pruning, Siding out of footways, or paths (widen back to original/full width), Grass verge cutting & Weed killing/weed removal) previously undertaken by SCC.

9. Speed Monitoring Device:
To consider a proposal by Cllr Turner for a new Speed Monitoring Device and support post.

10. Additional Playground/Road Safety Signage:
To consider a proposal by Cllr Turner for additional playground signage.

11. Insurance Renewal 2019/20:
To approve the Parish Council’s Insurance Renewal provisions for 2019/20.

12. Matters to be brought to the attention of the Council either for information or for inclusion on the agenda of a future Ordinary Meeting.

13. Next Meeting:
The next Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council will be Thursday 27 June 2019 in the Village Hall beginning at 7.30pm.
