Members of the Council:

You are hereby summoned to the Extra-ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council which will be held as a Virtual Meeting using Skype Video Conferencing on Wednesday 18 November 2020 at 7.15pm for the purpose of transacting the business below.

Members of the public:

Members of the public are welcome to access the meeting (via Skype) and may address the Council, during the Public Participation Session, Item 5 on the agenda. Would any person intending to address the Council during the meeting please provide a copy of their question (or report) to the Clerk of the Council (parish.council@cockfield.org.uk) in advance of the meeting, so that in the event that their access is lost during the meeting (i.e., through a wi-fi failure), then the Chairman will be able to read out their question during the meeting.

Reporting on Meetings

Except where members of the public have been excluded due to the confidential nature of the business, any person is normally able to film, photograph, audio record or use social media to report on meetings of the Council, including any public comment and/or questions.

AGENDA

1. To receive any apologies for absence.

2. To receive, from Members, any declarations of interest in items on the agenda in accordance with the Council’s Code of Conduct.

3. To approve the minutes of the Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council held on 29 October 2020.

4. Public Participation Session: (15 minutes).

5. Finance:
To authorise the Subsidence Excess payment to the Contractor of £26.78.

6. Adventure Playground Additional Works:
To consider Cllr Southgate’s proposal for the purchase of:
6.1: Two pairs of new swing seats and chains
6.2: New surface covering under picnic table
6.3: New Litter Bin and Accessories
6.4: Painting of existing swing framework.

7. Pavilion Update:
7.1: To approve the Loss Adjusters Mandate requiring the Parish to agree to pay 23.96% towards the Contractor’s costs.
7.2: To agree who will select the paint colour for the walls and Altro flooring.
8. Next Meetings:
The next Virtual Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council will be Thursday 26 November 2020 at 7.30pm, using Skype Video Conferencing.
