Would all those who use the cardboard recycling service in Cockfield and who take their cardboard waste to Cockfield Hall Farm, please note that with immediate effect this service is discontinued and residents are requested to place their cardboard waste in their blue bins (for Babergh to collect).

This change arises because of a dramatic fall in world wide market prices for recycled cardboard. The village will no longer receive any income for cardboard and would have to pay for its removal.

This does NOT apply to waste paper collections, which will continue as usual.
