Suffolk Village of the Year 2023

Cockfield Community Cinema

As we all know, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the coming weeks and months are going to be challenging times for everyone.  Therefore, it was with great disappointment that we had to cancel the Cockfield Community Cinema showing of 'Knives Out’ in March and postpone future screenings until a later date, when concerns have subsided inline with Government Covid-19 guidelines.

As yet we do not know when that will be, but once we have news we will broadcast this through the usual Social Media, Green Links Magazine and Poster Boards in and around the village.

Creative Arts East allowed us to screen the moving ‘Suffragette’ film on 4th April via a link elsewhere on the site  and through the Cockfield Community Broadcasts.

If you have not already subscribed to receive broadcasts please follow the link in the footer of this page.

A big thank you for all your support this year, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon with a fantastic line up of films.

A rich and powerful woman recently said – ‘better days will return, we will be with our friends again, we will meet again’. Unsure if it was Claire Foy, Helen Mirren or Olivia Coleman!!!

Stay Safe.
