Cockfield RecyclingWhere does the money go?

The paper bin at the village hall and the monthly kerbside paper collection benefit the Community Council.

The textile bin in the village hall car park and the Phil the Bag textile collections benefit the school as does the aluminium can bin. The glass bins benefit the Village Hall.

So it all stays in the village and goes to good causes.

PLEASE NOTE the Community Council kerbside collectors have asked that in future the papers are available from 9am (formerly 10.30am) on the last Sunday of every month, it just means they can get done that little bit earlier More revenue comes from the kerb side collections than the village hall car park bin and they take cardboard boxes too!

Anyone not currently in the scheme all you have to do is leave your paper at the roadside on the last Sunday of the month from 9am – no need to tell anyone it will just be collected.

Thank you.
